About Tammy Barnes

She has been living and working in the Amelia Island Plantation for over two decades. As a consistent Top Producing REALTOR® in Nassau County, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her customers.

Tammy serves on the Board of Directors of Amelia Island National County Association of REALTORS®-AINCAR and participates in many of their local community events. In 2021, she was named Committee Chair of the Year and 2022 REALTOR® of the Year by AINCAR for her commitment to the community and real estate.

Tammy is a licensed Florida real estate sales associate working with our team at Amelia Island Real Estate Services, bringing with her a genuine love for helping people. She goes above and beyond for her customers from the start of the transaction all the way through, and even after it is closed. She feels that once you become her customer, you become her family. Tammy goes the extra mile with her open communication, her honesty, her knowledge, and her amazing negotiation skills. 

Tammy was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but was raised in California. Her father served in the Navy and was part of the first nuclear submarine team at Kings Bay, Georgia. Tammy is married to Wayne Heath and has two beautiful daughters.

She enjoys live music, bike riding, and all water sports. When she is home, you will find her cooking up gourmet meals, dancing in the house, or just reading a good book in her courtyard. Some day she would love to vacation on the French Riviera.
